ESP fault?

Every once and a while when I start my car, my ESP light will be on in the cluster and I lose traction control. Pressing my ESP button does nothing. Happened this morning (not a good morning to be without it) and figured it was about time to figure this out.

Is this something I need to take in to the dealer? Or is this a job for VAG-COM?

ESP coming on is a sign of bad/disconnected MAF.. chris if you come to the planning tommorow night i can scan your car

i won't be able to make it earlier.. somebody in the S has to have a vagcom
