When I worked at Spruce Meadows over the summer I got to drive big tractors around, it was fun f*#king around with those things, shifting gears from 3-4 without clutching = fun

what kind of tractors? i dont think you can do it on a tractor, even with a clutch the gears grind, the higher ones like 4-5, 5-6, etc.

i've got the whole 5 speed thing figured out mostly with everyones help here. i just had another question, is engaging the clutch without using the gas, bad?? because in rush hr i find that easier when i have to just move up very slowly?

like just pushing the pedal down.. i dunno personally i don't do it but from reading on various forums it's bad for the car i dunno how since pushing the pedal opens the plates up so the clutch is just sitting there doing nothing but i honestly have no idea

I think you understood him wrong.
He seems to be talking about moving the car forward in traffic without touching the gas (ie: moving the car by using the clutch only in deadlock trafifc).

A couple of massey's... brand new. I think it only worked when shifting 3-4 (there was only 4 gears).
