19's playa. 19x8's with Falken 225/35 tires. Tire size will also depend on what brand you go with. Some tires (like Falkens...) stretch quite a bit. Ie: Keep wheel size constant and change tire brands and you will definately notice a difference in fitment.
As said above..with a 19x8 or 19x8.5 you want to stick with a 225/35 or 235/35 tire for sure.
Pimp yo.

For a staggered setup, you can easily run up to a 19x9.5 on the rear with an ET40. Most guys will run a 265/30R19 on the rear with this setup.
If you are stock ride height, these setups will fit with no issues. If you lowered a lot (approx 2 inches or more) you *may* experience a slight rub with the staggered setup, but this is not common and sometimes depends on the model of tire you use. I have a friend who ran the 265/30R19 Kumhos and rubbed a bit, but when he switched to the same size in a Falken FK451's, they have a slightly narrower treadface and the rubbing stopped completely. Again, he is lowered quite a bit and only had a slight rub that went away with a different tire...
Here is a pic to demonstate the setup of his car...
