ahah on that one?? thats my favorite one, the long 2 turn one, i bet it happened on the 1st turn, cause if you go crazy too fast then you will catch air as there is a bump just before the turn, so i bet thats what happened ahahahah too funny.

i know people who have died in fancy expensive cars because they thought "oh it has all this traction control, esp, abs, etc etc" that they could go around corners at infinite speeds and it would be no problem, nope sorry.

          Re: bimmer test drive

I'm not sure of the hard and fast rules.... but I was able to test drive the new M5 when I was 20... three years ago. Hotness!!

The craziest test-drive I ever took was with a Subaru. The salesman was trying to show me how amazing the all-wheel drive system was, and made me fly at a 90degree industrial corner at insane speeds.
Sidewalks are for normal walkin.... aint no room for fancy walkin....

I test drive how I drive. Seems to me the best way of doing things but then I have never had a salesperson ever tell me to push harder.

                  Re: bimmer test drive

I would assume 16 with valid drivers liscence... But they are not just going to let any 16-25 year old with a gleam in their eye come in and test drive any car....
I am sure they can refuse to let someone go for a test drive if they feel that it will not result in a sale or would be an insurance liability.

                    Re: bimmer test drive

I know what you guys mean with the sales guys. When the new Mustangs came out everyone raved about how they were such good drivers cars. So naturaly I went to check it out, since my Bimmer scores me almost any test drive I want (even at my age) :P. Well the sales guy took the wheel first since he didnt think I could drive very well and wanted to show me how "sweet" the new "stang" was (haha). Well once I got into the left seat I wanted to try driving it to compair it to my car...Playing with someone elses car is soooo much fun...haha. Needless to say the thing drove like a big steel "stick" and took such long corners...oh well I got a redline a new stang upo through four gear...LOL.

by the way...someone get an OWNED picture for this....

Physics is a b!tch. Just like all the SUVs you see in the ditch after a snow fall.
