Re: Big up to Northland
Just had a minor problem with the 'bit on my way to work this morning. Ive been driving the rabbit for a couple weeks now, but yeah the Jetta is good. I am likely going to pick up some winters in Jan or Feb and start driving it year round. I plan on purchasing a new 4-dr GTI next year so the Jetta will become the winter beater and I will sell the rabbit.
Present
2010 Audi A4 S-Line
2007 VW GTI 2.0T
Past
2003 VW Jetta GLI
1992 VW Jetta GL
1984 VW Rabbit GTI

Originally posted by TunaI'm not questioning your decision or anything that would be sweet, but I think I'd be tempted to keep the jetta as "summer only" since i'm sure there will be WAY more GTI's made than the 24V GLI's.

Originally posted by Mr. BurnsYou make a valid point... more than likely both cars will be insured and driven year round. My wife will have the Jetta, and Myself the GTI. She works downtown so it probably wont see much winter use (gotta keep those km's low )
I love the 24V, I took one out one time, so fun.Last edited by Tuna; 12-01-2005, 02:15 PM.Jay

Re: Big up to Northland
LOL no, my alternator belt snapped on my way to work, and I didn't have any tools with me... ironically enough I had a new belt in the back seat, I was going to install it when I got home from work.
