I think it is the G6 GTP??? Sarah's Uncle is thinkning about getting a G6 convertible as supposedly the wait for a Solstice is riduclous like 2 years he was told, thats just dumb for a company going broke.

Anyway back on topic I am running my IceBears and they seem to be keeping my Smart pretty surefooted thus far!

yea blair there are a few smarts up in RR and they seem to do quite well on the morning commutes.. i find other drivers are scared of them tho.. like at lights (as you stated) people will try to cut them off and get around them.. the other day at a light the smart took off faster than a 4x4 truck did

Well, im in lovely Lloydminster on biz today and my rental beater is a G6 with 2000km on the clock lol...Im actually pretty impressed with it, beats the **** out of the grand am's and even prix's ive been in, interior build quality is much better than before (still, its a domestic, but holding it to domestic standards its nice!) and its got some balls.

I was drivin some chev cobolts last week as rentals..now those things...they're shite

Good guesses guys, but its the Grand Prix GXP, with the 5.2L V8. It is still a crappy domestic but some things about it are pretty cool (like the V8). I have never driven a car with such a big engine so it is a new experience to me. It also has a decent bilstein suspension and some other goodies. Maybe I can bring it to the meet tonight, if I can make it...

AFAIK the GTO is not available in Canada.

The G6 coupe is pretty nice, good fit and finish for a GM! Maybe the best interior fit/finish of any GM I have seen. The sedan is not as nice.

The GTP G6 engine I do not find to be that quick, it is the olllld supercharged V6 that was in my dad's last grand prix, its pretty crappy compared to most of the competing engines (such as the Nissan 3.5L or the engine in the Acura TL).

The solstice looks neat but it is super slowwwwww on paper.

after an entire day of bagging the living **** out of a g6 my verdict:

Best domestic Ive driven....and ive driven the main selling models of almost all domestics save ford, which I cant see being better hahah
