    Official New James Bond

    Well I am not sure if many of you have heard or care but Daniel Craig has been cast as the new James Bond for the upcoming film Casino Royale. I am very happy with the choice as I think Craig goes back to the Sean Connery days with a little more grit then some of the other actors to have played the role. Craig has not been in many movies but if you have not seen it go rent or buy Layer Cake it is a very good movie and I look forward to seeing him in the next James Bond instalment, and the since the movie is based on the first ever book it might actually be good too!!

    Good choice IMO. Layer Cake is one of the better movies I have seen recently. Should work out nicely.

      I think the biggest factor is the script, so we'll see how it ends up looking. My favourite bond movie is Dr. No so I would also love to see a new movie more like that. A little less action hero and a little more spy.

            i kinda agree with bart that mr. bmw driver (clive owen lol) coulda done a great job as bond.. but oh well this guy will do well.. but yea the script needs to be solid.. the few before with brosnan the scripts were freaking awful on a few.. made me hurt.

              I like Goldeneye though, I would say its in the top 5. The cold-war plot along with the whole re-introduction of all the old bond elements made a pretty good movie.

                true kris.. goldeneye was awesome not to mention the n64 game gave many a late night as a highschool kid.. ahhh memories
