the game was okay.. lots of odd calls and really poor plays by the seahawks it seemed..
like the one seahawk touchdown where the dude was like 3" from the line and they put it to video playback i can't remember if it counted or not..

then the seahawks seemed to have broke down and were throwing some crap ass passes and poor plays.. oh well

ps.. the rolling stones need to retire already

Well have to be proud of the seahawks but the loss is being called the "most unjust loss in Superbowl history" so that tells you how things went. I am not a big conspiracy theorist but seems everyone wanted a certain team to win.

Anyway I will be quiet about it now but the boards are slow today so far...

Some poeple (Seattle radio callers; FSR Radio Show The Drive; a friend's friend)who were at the game mentioned a reason for the number of Terrible Towels at the game was that the ushers in the stadium wer egiving them away to ALL fans who didn't have one. The fans whom asked for Seahawks towels were simply told by the ushers that they were not available and they were giving the terrible towels out to everyone.

rumour has it that the ref's flags were in fact, terrible towels bunched up and weighted

are you serious? did you see holmgren in the press conference, he was blaming the ref's hard.

The players did not as much, saying they did not play well enough to win, but truely neither team did. Yes Holmgren did comment they had to play the Steelers and the refs too.

I also found that the TV coverage with its black & white pictures with the Vince Lombardi trophy were also biased 90% steelers just like everything else.

Roethlisberger told Letterman that he didn't think he scored on a controversial play in the second quarter that put the Steelers ahead for good 7-3. Roethlisberger dove toward the end zone but didn't appear to get the ball to touch the goal line. But officials on the field signaled touchdown.

"I told Coach, 'I don't think I got in,'" Roethlisberger told Letterman. "But we were getting ready to go for it on fourth down anyway, and I would have run it again. So we would have found a way to get in."



The NFL has also said it was happy with the officiating in the playoffs and Superbowl this year

Well the season begins again on Thursday, just need my new TV hooked up so I can enjoy it

I am hopeful that my Seahawks will have a good season but don't think they will be able to repeat last years run, but who knows. I will also be going to the Sep 24th Seahawks vs Giants game so I can hardly wait!!
