Road Trip 2005

I got back this afternoon from a little road trip.

From Calgary to Riondel, BC via the Crowsnest pass...

We rented a VERY remote cabin in Riondel overlooking Kooteney Lake and it was beautiful!

The weather was excellent... we went wakeboarding on the lake on Saturday... and i am feeling the effects of it now... extra strength advil here i come.

Good thing my Passat is not lowered since it was 3km logging road that I had to take to get up to the cabin.

We came home thru Radium.. and spent a night there as well... the hot springs were hot as usual

note: if you love curvy roads... i highly recommend the 3A in BC along the lake... it's about 1 hour of the best roads around... I took it slow easy this time but I remember it well when i had my old 97 jetta on it 6 years ago... it's got to be one of the best in canada...

Same here, seeing as I was born on Vancouver Island but I love to Okangan BEST.

Yeah sweet pics!

I went their last year and it was a lot of fun. Defintely one the better places to visit in Canada.
