so, i had just spent 5 days installing my custom front mount intercooler, and after several attempts to fix a boost leak and finally fixing it, and on a test drive at full boost around 6500 rpm........ my front engine mount failed and my g charger smoked the hood and left a huge dent! initally i thought the g ladder blew up but i was lucky. but my point is the corrado never fails to kick you when you are down..... anyone else have this bad corrado curse???? everytime i fix something, i break something alse. but with this new intercooler this car hauls ass!!! best mod yet....

Re: torque monster
We spent ALL this past winter and spring, putting together a 16v-G60'ed corrado. Tweaked it to death with megasquirt engine management, and pulled just over 200whp on the dyno...
...only to have a connecting rod bearing go as the car is idling while we're unstrapping it from the dyno! doh! Damn oil pumps with 300k km's on them!!
A rebuild is currently underway1.8T
Not quite stock anymore...
