    Amp

    I want to run my speakers in my car off a new amp... so like 10 of them... what watt should I run ?

    Your stock speakers?

    If they are monsoon speakers you can't.

    If they are not monsoon speakers I dunno much about it.

    I wouldn't run the stock non-monsoon speakers off an amp because they probably aren't the greatest speakers...

      I just want to get any idea for how many watts I am going to run, as I am buying my wires now. The idea would be to switch all of it out next summer

        oh god stock speakers probably 25w a speak would be tons or even blow them..

          well I will switch them out... hahaha i just need an idea of what I should be running for wire... mmm I will head out tonight and talk with someone

              12 to an amp seems really same to me? I was thinking 4GA from the battery back, then split into 8GA

                Oh you mean to the amp not to the speakers, I think Ryan thought you meant amp->speakers

                You can run whatever you ran to the trunk to your amp or something like 4ga

                    lol okay here do this

                    2ga from battery to trunk/distro block
                    4ga from distro block to each amp

                    speaker wire size from amps-->subs/components 12ga

                    this is how i'm wiring mine up

                      Don't forget to run remote turn on and RCA's from the back of where the deck will be to the trunk. Run these cables on the opposite side of the vehicle as the power wire.
