Pretty tempting stuff IMO

They import japanese K-cars for Canadians and some other cars. I am sure that they are making plenty of money but I can imagine having a lot of fun in such a rare little car.

The Sera is pretty cool but not that small, the honda and suzuki both have potential as a car lighter and faster than a smart car! I think totally worth it to have a 1 of a kind car.

Yea, I edited my post, I want the Suzuki works? Turbo'd, intercooled whopping 660cc's of fury! and it's almost 100 kg's lighter I think.

In japan I think there was a 95hp version of the works and as you say it weighs 100kg less than the 42hp smart car! But the K-car version on japanoid is probably the 65hp 660cc. Which is still wicked fast I would guess. I am sure since it is turbocharged that it can be tuned up for some extra hp. Also a lot of the k-car's use bike engines, since its a suzuki it may be possible to swap in a larger bike engine for the 660cc. Maybe like a 1000-1200 cc bike engine.

See small cars rock!!! Plus they are cheap, I am at about 470kms on this tank so far still with 4.5L to go

Also getting near the end of the break in period so I think next week could be time for a little power boost

Well I filled up again last night up in the north and the lady cashier at the station was very interested in my car

Anyway with my little bit of highway driving I got super good mileage this time around!!! I am still loving the car, lots of fun and does everything I need and soon to have more power

London - Lions at a safari park in the north of England are prowling after Smart cars, in the apparent belief that the boxy little two-seat European city cars are worthy prey.

Visitors to Knowsley Safari Park, outside Liverpool, have long been able to drive their vehicles within metres of the big cats - but those in Smart cars have discovered that the lions are paying them particular interest.

"The lions are used to seeing sedans and family cars on a daily basis, but they had never seen a Smart before," park manager David Ross said on Tuesday.

"Because of the cars' small size and unusual looks, the lions were immediately interested and went to take a closer look."

"We won't be excluding Smarts from the park but we will monitor their progress and ensure that the lions don't take anything more than a passing interest."

Knowsley Safari Park is home to a variety of exotic animals including tigers, buffalo, baboons, camels, rhinos, elephants and giraffes.

A spokesperson for Smart, a Mercedes-Benz brand, said the animal attraction was "very unusual". - Sapa-AFP
