Great guys. I have not been around much. Holidays and life in general, you know
Any way, I had to take my Jetta to Northland because of my comfort seat recall and it has been eating tires. The week after I bought the car I noticed some wear on the front drivers side tire on the inside edge. I was told the car had a wheel alignment before I bought it, as the steering wheel was off kilter. So I rotated my tires. I have driven it for 3 months and I have gone to BC twice. Last trip back we hit a rain storm near Jumping Pound and the car was feeling kind of funny. I chocked it up the wet road. But I did an inspection when I got home any way. Driver side front tire had wore down to cords on the inside edge. I was like WTF! I called Northland and they said bring it in. They re did the wheel alignment and gave me 2 new tires. I did not have to whine, snivel, b*tch or fight for the tires. If they did not at least give me a discount was going to complain. But I got 2 new ones out of it. I am impressed
Apparently the wheel alignment equipment is needing some service as they want me back next week to double check the alignment as they think something is wrong with the equipment. I think there is to because the Jetta does not feel quite right yet, as it finds ridges on the road and kind of goes where it wants right now. It is not a real comfortable feeling. It is really bad on the Deerfoot.
