you want a 2 seater sports car with a budget of $85K,
choice is pretty simple to me. lotus elise. drive one and you will understand why. thing is a race car that is street legal. it is the essence of sports cars. after driving that everything else feels like driving a tug boat. even the new C6 cant hold a flame to it.
if that doesn't suit you a boxsterS is a pretty good choice.

the lotus will be priced at 60K cdn. i drove one down in oregon a few months ago, and had the oppurtunity to drive one in vancouver that was a customers car from the states. older model but still same concept with the car.

              hands down my choice

                      Re: convertable sportscars...

s2000 is a nice drive, unfortunatly i cant stand the fact you have to drive it like a racecar to have it go anywhere. im not kidding when i say you gotta gear down at the sight of any kind of incline. the back end has a serious snap oversteer tendancy as well, and coupled with the Vtec can catch drivers off guard. we fixed a few s2000's that spun into ditches and rock walls when i was working at the body shop in vancouver because of snap oversteer.

what about a 1993 or 1991 MR2 Turbo. my buddy has one, turned up the boost and it is one of the best cars to drive. tons of fun, stylish, and quite rare
