It was horrible, I was watching the whole thing unfold on web-tv at work today... :(

I am really hoping that Canada isn't a target of a future attack. Escpecially with us holding the Stampede the next week and a half :( *knock on wood*

one of my close buddies left to london last week with his family for vacation, i heard from yesterday morning he came on msn from an internet cafe. the bus that was hit was his tour bus from a tour 30 minutes earlier than his. he missed huge bomb by 30 minutes!!

so now he's stuck in london with no tubes open, no buses open, and the only way to get around is with cabbies. what a crappy vacation! but oh well, its history in the making.

Yeah some very scary and close calls. The scarier part is that a while back Al Qaida posted its top five targets and now (if yesterdays attack was indeed by them) Canada is the only one left that has not been hit, so lets really hope nothing else happens as The US, Spain, Australia (Bali) and now the UK have been hit.

The fact of the matter is that we WILL be hit at some point, and probably soon (within a year or two). Al Qaida has made it perfectly clear that Canada is a target, and lets face it, they have a great track record so far. Our nation needs to be prepared (which unfortunately I don't think it is).

If our security is important to you, you need to make that known to your elected representatives. Call, write or email them.

My buddy leaves in 6 days for a 1 month vacation in Europe... First place he is scheduled to visit... LONDON, close to where the bombs went off...
Poor guy...
