Apple is moving to Intel starting in 2006, with all Macs migrated in 2007. It's a good thing(tm). There won't be too many software issues as companies will be releasing their products as fat binaries (meaning a version that works on PPC and one that works on x86). For those that slip through the cracks, Rosetta is an emulation layer that will allow PPC Mac apps to run on an Intel Mac. Basically, IBM dropped the ball and SJ told them to go F themselves (rightly so).
