Aluminum Vs. Carbon Fibre

Well since things are slow here today I thought I would get some opinons on some parts for my new ride. My interior is primarily dark grey leather but there are some blue accents which I am wanting to remove. I have found a couple of trim kits that I like but I am not really sure what to choose.

The first is the Brabus carbon fibre kit, I am sure the quality is good but will it look a tad ricey? It is also more cost effective for the full 9 pieces.


The second choice is aluminum pieces, these are actual aluminum and can come in various finishes, but I would choose brushed. This kit can look very classy and allows me to buy in various parts as well.


Let me know your thoughts??

I'd probably choose the CF if only because I can't stand those dimples on the aluminium.

i like the dimples.. reminds of a TT.. i'd almost go CF since nobody else has it and you can be different that way

It depends, is the chassis silver? if so then the alum or if black then the carbonfibre. Or if you want contrast the opposite... hmm guess that really didn't help

I would go Carbon Fibre. Especially with your colors. Would look good IMO. Maybe even look into the silver grained Carbon they sell now.

I like both trims, but I have to say that the aluminum would look a touch cooler with your exterior colour.

Darn, tough call C/F might be a little more different. But the aluminum looks good without the dimple things.
