I got sick of asking for advice and insight about upcoming repairs / mods with my old car and getting no useful information, just having a bunch of a$$holes making fun for asking questions, even after a search found nothing. A forum - and the internet minus the commercial presence - is for the open exchange of information. Unless, that is, you know everything like some feel they do. Fark that.

I don't like the cdn forum b/c it seems to be all Ontario. They should split it up West, East, and maybe even Maritimes.

And the rest of the poortex is fine.. Just stay away from the Mk4 forums.

haha for sure the mk4 forum is so damn immature anymore.. i check it everyday but its pretty bad.. i pretty much only check the classifieds, 1.8T, stereo, and forced induction forums.

I actually don't mind the MK3 forum, except that there's a pretty big group friends on there so there tends to be a lot of inside jokes. But at least for the most part they are helpful.
