    Re: Where do you work…

I am currently unemployed at the moment what with moving and all. I was on EI for 1 year 2003-2004 No work in field of Community Support here. I have been providing respite care for adults living with developmental disabilities.

I also worked at Mount Washington Alpine Resort(Ski Hill) for 3 weeks and 4 days until all the snow melted. I worked in the Cafeteria as a prep cook which was fun. 2004-2005 Ski Season.

Once I am relocated I will be going back to work with adults or youth not sure yet living with develpomental disabilities either at a Day Program/ Community Access or in a Group Home. I have training for over 10 years as a Community Support/Human Services/ Developmental Disability Suport Worker.

Yes most network gear can be made to block RDP on 80, however most don't think of that. It's not a matter of 'will it' but 'does it'. If the remote desktop is blocked you can then use the web client to circumvent that and if somehow they block that or notice it then it can be SSL'd and run on 443.

There are SO many ways to ensure that you remain the VP of cainine reproduction in an organization.

Also, if it came right down to it I could yoink someone's wireless on my PDA. There certainly is no shortage of open or semi-open AP's in the core.

You certainly have a challenging path ahead of you. One of my neighbours is the director of a community & family services org and she is very disheartened by the number of very bright and eager people who are broken by a badly managed care infrastructure. Best of wishes to you.

                        Re: Where do you work…

Well personally I dont think CAs are superior, they are generally taken during school (university) while CGA and CMAs are more an outside of school experience but require a degree to complete thus making them a bit more of an education closer even to MBAs and also the reason CAs were trying to merge with CMAs Anyway I work with my father who is a CMA and the CGA program was the most suited to my work and lifestyle (I already have a BSc) I just wish I could be done soon. Anyway sorry about the babbling on but Russell I dont know your Dad but he must do a lot as he earned his FCGA!

Ya, my dad did his CGA long long ago, then got his CA a few years later so Im confused how the whole process works, he says CA was a b**ch to get.

The CA is perhaps more of an involved process as far as internships and so forth. I wouldn't say the CA is neccesarily better than the CGA, but they take very different paths. Excuse my ignorance, but what is a FCGA? (added degree of difficulty?)

It is a Fellowship or something, an honour bestoyed upon members who have made great conrtibutions to the association through their careers. I think they give out only a few each year.

To my understanding there is only 3-4 given out per year... the year my father got it there was 2 other people getting it.
