I wouldn't call what I do work. But I am obligated to show up in the morning between 8 and about 9:30 five days a week at an exceptionally large oil company.

I'm a communications analyst with a consulting firm, just seconded to a major oil and gas company for several months, starting next week.

I design/verify ASICs at a small high-tech company in Ottawa. I get a lot of 2 minute breaks while things compile/run so I get lots of 2-minute surfing intervals
