I a have not heard anything from AMVIC, but I started communicating directly with a representative today to see what is going on with the claim.

NL is awesome to deal with, I bought a 2002 Jetta from them last week and when I was driving it home I noticed the steering wheel was out by about 1/8 of a turn while driving straight on the street. It was out enough that when turning left the signal light would not stop blinking automatically, I had to manually stop the blinker. I told them about the problem and expected them to tell me that it was going to cost me $100 to fix it, not the case "bring it in" they said we will get it fixed. I took it in and in less then 1/2 hour I was back on the road. Fantastic service.

Yeah, when I had my 86 Jetta NL had great service and always liked the respect they had for a 17 year old .

However NL Pontiac are just disgusting. An example is one time I went in for a routine service the good old lube, oil and filter job. So when I go to pick it up I get in the car and before I even leave the lot I have to stop the car and get out because it was pulling to the left like a MOFO!!!! I get out look at the tires and the front left was dead flat running on the rim. Of course seeing this I am pretty pissed off. If anyone knows the route into NL Pontiac it is pretty much a one way single car street kind of. So my car is in this little street and I walk back to the dealership and get the parts and service guy to go back to the car. When I get there he sees the tire and says, "Oh that was like that when you brought it in and we didn't make it worse."

OH MY GOD!!!!

So I flipped out at him and demanded that he provide me with a new tire (this one was really new, less than 2000 km on it). After a heated discussion about what things like the customer is always right he eventually replaced the tire.

The thing is I have always had total crap service from those idiots and I plan on never going there again!!!!!!!!

Ohhhhhh that felt good.

AMVIC came through! Sounds like the sales guy and the business manager have been let go The owner says I can go and get my cheque anytime as it at Auto Fleet Sales. Funny how one person's mistake can ruin a companies reputation. A big thank you to AMVIC!
