calgary streets?

hey guys,

i'm from vancouver and am driving over to calgary this week. just wondering how the roads are over there. people are telling me not to take my car cuz there's lots of sand and gravel all over the place, and its not worth getting my paint all messed up. is this true?

Yea, we could get snow this week. But I doubt it will be sand and gravel, they'll probably just salt as they've already done a lot of sweeping.

The forecast just changed for the better. It's still going to be cold mid week, but no more snow. Woop!
