That is some crazy looking art. I must admit however, I do not know what it's for.

Thats amazing artwork. Can you explain the campaign guide for the less-knowledgable geeks? Is it a D&D style game or what? Are you the editor or author or a part of the press company.

It is in fact a D&D game. D&D is now part of what's called the "d20 system," which is an open gaming system. What that means is any independent publisher can use the core D&D rules to create their own game or supplement. Red Spire Press is my own publishing company and I am also the core writer and art director for our products. Not an easy task since I also have a full time career as a web developer but that's another story...

Are you a freelance web developer?

Do you have examples of your web work online?

Not freelance no. I work full time with a local company called Veer. A lot of the code behind http://www.veer.com is my doing, as are some of the UI elements.

Re: Cover of my latest book

I figured it was something along the D&D lines. Never played it myself, I was a young teenager when all the publicity came out about people killing themselves after battles where their character got killed and stuff. Needless to say my parents wouldn't let me have anything to do with it. I did play some battletech though in High school. The artwork is good for sure though.

Also, a bit off topic but I found this on another forum, I don't regularly read the Taipei times but this was just nuts (reminded me about the D&D stuff in the late 80's).

I loved battletech. I probably still have a bunch of painted mech minis in my parents' basement.

It's like the circle of life... although somewhat different than how the Lion King presented it.
