Whenever I see an old lady slip and fall on a wet sidewalk, my first instinct is to laugh. But then I think, what if I was an ant, and she fell on me. Then it wouldn't seem quite so funny.
I feel your pain - plus $.09. Gas prices in the east are so f***ing out of control. It's impossible to find a bargain in Halifax as most of the stations match prices. So, if one guy goes up, everybody else is usually up within a few hours (and although this should work in reverse, it usually takes a few days to level out). The only good thing about buying gas in Nova Scotia is that supreme is only .06 more than regular . . .as good as that is
We were up to 99.9 last summer, and i'm sure it'll go even higher this year. My buddy has a TDI, which he thought would save him a bundle in fuel costs. Too bad diesel is the same price as regular gas now. How the f*** does that add up? Are there excessive refining costs associated with diesel? I'm not aware of any - it's just a big cash grab.
HEY BIG OIL!!!! refer to Mr. Burns' avatar.

I'd spend more time with my girlfriend, but she's only naturally aspirated.
I filled up with diesel today at 75 cents, you guys paying the same as regular are getting ripped off. (I went to Gas King, Bannister Road in the far south)
I laughed when I saw regular at 89.9 though. hahahha go diesel go.....

Diesel is a heck of a lot cheaper to refine then gas. This excuses of a huge cold front in the east causing higher usage of heating fuel is a BS too. I think they are driving the price up because they can and because they are being forced to upgrade their refineries for ultralow sulfer diesel which i believe all diesel sold has to be by next year. All in all there is no way they are hurting over the upgrade costs and they gradually increased the cost so everyone wouldn't yell at once.

I filled up the GTI with 94 tonight and the bill came to $50.84. Gas prices are a *****, and diesel is BS, however my biodiesel just keeps getting better and better!
