        Re: Music Time!

Ok I feel out of touch on this topic I haven't even heard of some of these bands. I guess I'm a Lost 80's BABE, and I like some dance stuff, A band from Europe called PAIN, I like the new stuff by Green Day. I guess you could say I like a bit of everything.

Top Fav Tunes at the moment:
Absurb - by FLUKE - Tomb Raider Soundtrack
Pedal to the Medal- By KAZZER
Army of Me- Bjork- From the Movie Tank Girl
        Breathing- Lifehouse

I love My Cousin's Band music which is SKA - The band is called "The Kiltlifters".

I don't like much top 40 stuff. There is one tune that is played on 99.3 the Fox I like that has this weird mix to it, great driving tune no idea who it is though.

Dogma is in with my Kevin Smith collection (which I got my wife hooked on), Willow is a classic (yet I don't own it ) and M&C I liked but the wife thought it was really borring (which it is in parts). Some of my favorite movies that most people have never heard of are : Fortress (2nd wasn't as good),
Battle Royale 1 & 2 (a brutal japanese movie, culturaly and physicaly)
that is all I can think of off the top of my head.

Mike glad you like DFA 1979 I would have loved to been at the show but just too much work these days. I also think Oakenfold is playing the Whiskey tonight.

My favorite CDs of the week have been Armor For Sleep - What to Do When You are Dead and Hernan Cattaneo - Renaissance Masters 2004.

                    Re: Music Time!

Thought I would bring this back up to the top as lots of new music is hitting the streets in the next little while. I am digging the new Queens of the Stone Age this week and I am also checking out the new Nine Inch Nails which sounds great so far!

If anyone wants to hear it check out this link

Ok, I apologize in advance if I'm way off on this one, but is Audioslave the group with the old Soundgarden singer? I thought it was something like that anyway. Apart from their initial hype when they started out, I hadn't heard much about 'em, but really liked their sound (if it IS the same band).

I just went to their site, i'm sure it's them, I need to pick up that album.

Haha, well I've always been pretty "mixed" up when it comes to the music genres I listen too. Don't get me wrong though, cruising around LA I still like to bump some good 'ol fashioned west coast music now and then

The Photnoise also has a little Dogg Pound, Snoop, Amerie, NB Ridaz, etc.
