I gave alexisonfire a try. I had bought their first one a while ago and wasn't crazy about it but the new one isn't bad. I don't really like the screaming but the other vocals in their songs are so good I just can't seem to resist.

Also, after hearing a song by Metric on the radio a few times it reminded me of Star69 that I used to listen to so I started listening to that again. I wouldn't mind checking out Metric's CD.

The screaming in alexisonfire makes it unlistenable to me... which is a shame because it is really good otherwise.

Anybody else heading to the Sparta show at the warehouse tonight?

Listened to the new Nine Inch Nails a few times through and there are some really great tracks, but seems like 16 tracks is a bit too long, perhaps a little too much filler that could have been left out. Sounds good really loud though!

whole ton of armin van buuren stuff. been rocking out to this since christmas with his weekly a state of trance 2 hour radio show mixes. caught him live the other night at tantra and it was amazing.

Just got the new Groove Armada CD. Good stuff! Good blend of old school feeling tracks (eg. lightsonic) and newer stuff (eg. the girls say). If you ever liked Groove Armada I give it a thumbs up!
