Been enjoying the new Mars Volta and Audioslave CDs, I prefer this Audioslave over the last but still requires a few listens.





Really looking forward to the Mars and RHCP concert this saturday too!!

I do dig the new Mars Volta, but Spartas new one "Threes" is even better. Their sound has grown so much since the last two albums. The album is not out until October, but if you know where to look it is easy to find

The Mars Volta, RHCP concert on Saturday was amazing, really enjoyed it!! My only complaint is if you are going to have hardcore full pat down security you need to have the staff to do it, 45 minutes to get in is stupid

Anyway so mostly listening to the Chili's today but I did like Hot Chip Kris, thanks!

Edit: Ive been listening to alot of Postal Service and Death Cab, I know they arent new CD's but still love their stuff.

Its All Gone Pete Tong Soundtrack been rocking in the Ipod for the last few weeks. some of the best music i have heard in a while. Some chill stuff, some techno stuff. Definetly a good soundtrack from a GREAT movie.

anyone listen to metal?
i've been listening to Dark Tranquillity, and the new(er) Unearth. Also the new Darkest Hour.

Now for something non-metal related, a few months back there was this band called "Our Mercury" who opened at the Moneen/Choke show in Calgary... they were RAD. I picked up the CD and have listened to it probably 20 times. Really catchy and original. And don't worry it's not anything close to metal, my girlfriend likes it!

do yourself and favor and check them out you wont be disappointed.

I've also been listening to alot of Heart lately.

and for you punkers - the new Propagandhi (Potemkin City Limits) is amazing. the first couple times i heard it i was sort of sketchy on it... but if you warm up to it, it'll be the best cd in your collection!
