Fun car: '92 Blue Karmann Crabby Cabby Mods: Coils, front and rear swaybars, LED interior lights and some other old things.
Duff: I think we really should get the clubs together a few times a year to chill out, maybe open people's minds!
That would be fun I think. Better yet would be a co-sponsored event/show. I used to be a member of CVD years back, after I first moved to Calgary from Edmonton. There's a lot of great guys and cars in the club. The main reason I left was because a) I was getting out of cars in general at the time and b) there was starting to be a lot of politics that I just didn't want to deal with. Duff and Curtis can probably attest to the latter. But every club goes through it so it's not specific to CVD. From what I've heard, NVD has suffered the same growing pains. We're adults so we move on, and everything is good again.
we do have shared events.. farfromhome is an all AB show in sylvan.. then CVD puts on dasvolks and we show up and airriders in edmotn puts on their show and we show up plus we have something special this year but i can't talk about it
/\/\ We just show up to their events....they really aren't shared, I believe CVD does all the work on those (and airriders for Farfromhome).....Maybe we could contribute some legwork....

Actually Fahrfromhome is Calgary's show, however, last year we had a meeting in Red Deer and Edmonton helped with some of the planning. I will let you guys know when we have that planning meeting and you would be welcome to come up with us. It's just a day trip to Red Deer, have some lunch, talk about the show and head back.
Blair and NVD, we have scheduled a meeting of the minds for FFH on April 24th up in Red Deer with the Air Riders. You are welcome to come and join in the planning process. It will be fairly low key and a nice cruz for some lunch!
