Re: Gt4 Wow! Awesome!
I used a modded R32 - not the HPA one. I can't remember exactly how much I tuned it, but it was around the 376hp mark. Sadly I had to sell her in order to mod my Ginetta, but that paid off huge when I won the 1000 mile race and won just under $1 Million.
And to answer your other question about switching from A-spec to B-spec - you have the option of which mode you want to be in when you enter the pits. A little pop up menu shows up where you can choose to change tires, get fuel, and what mode you want to be in. Switch it to B-Spec and then once you leave the pits, you'll be watching the car from the outside and a 'driver' is doing all the, er, driving.
You can then control the pace at which he drives (slow down, cruise, steady, fast, and push) and you can also press R1 to switch to a kind of racing schematic screen which shows various real time information about the race. Once in that menu, you can hold down L1 and tap right twice on the directional pad to increase the race rate to x3 - expediting the proceedings so you're not sitting around for 3+ hours.
After a race I would then exit and save (but still remain in the race series) so that when you turn on your game the next day, or whenever you felt like playing again, you could begin again where you left off.
Hope that all made sense.
