  • New Radio Station

Not sure if anyone or everyone knows that KISS 96.9 is no longer and it is now JACK 96.9 and there motto is we play whatever we want. This puts a good concept back into radio that has long been missing, variety. So it seems to have a good mix so far I checked it out on the way to work today and heard Men Without Hats, Pat Benetar, Green Day, Santana and Bare Naked Ladies.

I personally would rather hear a bunch of songs that are all different, with a couple that I am not to fond off, then the same 12 songs over and over again. Check it out, also a good work radio station for an office too!

I gotta plug my station since they are user supported:

    90.9 CJSW

No commercials, no wacky morning DJ, no radio-voiced announcers. And a *lot* of variety!

Admittedly, some of the programs suck. But other times you will hear music that just doesn't get airplay anywhere else.

Well I usually listen to cds too, but sometimes I find myself in a car with not my cds (Dads TT ) and so I check out the radio.

CJSW has always been cool, been listening since way back in the day when I went to school there, but sometimes there stuff is a little crazy and the announcers can be painfully boring at times. I think this new JACK station will do really well with the 30 and 40s crowds. Just glad they took one station that was to close to Vibe and and made something different [Thumbs Up]

JACK FM hasn't had a commercial yet, they have alot of different stuff, I listened for a while because someone told me they changed.

I like to get some radio because you get traffic reports that way.

I agree, I have no time for radio and all of it's crap. I like finding rare CDs, I probably buy 1 a week to keep myself entertained.

Like today I found a CLASSIC Gary Numan CD !! it has got "cars", "are friends electric" etc! sorry I am so excited
I own a luxury econobox..is that an oxymoron?
