  • What do you do?

I'm just curious what everyone on this board does for a living? or if you're all still students, how do you get mod money?

I'm going to UofC... and I'm almost done. After that I'm hoping I'll have alot of mod money. As for right now, I'm suffering almost stock :(

I'm also a UofC student! Lucky for me I am a grad student now and get funding (a.k.a. free money, muahahahaha). Its better pay than my last part time job, which I suffered with all through my undergrad degree. The combination of these incomes allowed me to (finally) buy my car, but I am going to have to go kinda slow on the mods until I finish my studies.

Actually I'm doing communications here at UofC as well.... although it's not really what I enjoy. I'm basically doing this, along with my Canadian Securities course next year, in an attempt to get into the MBA program.

I'm part owner of a company here in calgary called SmartSlitters International. I don't pull much salary because i want the company to do well instead of me at the moment. I won't be hurting though

I'm a Completions Engineer for EnCana, downtown. Pretty cool job, actually; but I still don't make enough for mod money! [Hmm]
The harder I work, the luckier I get.

I work as an Electronics Engineer at Nortel, it's been tough these last few years but I am still hanging on. I run investigations on field return issues which can be interesting but is a bit sporadic.

I also represent Upsolute Chiptuning in Alberta. This is much more interesting and rewarding...the post-test drive grins from customers are the best!
