  • Porsche Cayenne

Well yesterday I found myself near by SCFC and so when near by I take a swing through the lot. I found a Cayenne S in the Porsche showroom, it looked not bad. Then I went near the back (service drive through fence area) and there sitting just on the otherside of the fence was a black Cayenne Turbo. Now I have to say this thing looked hot from the side, with 20" rims HUGE brakes, the tail pipes are massive looking. I could not see the front as the fence was in my way, however I am much more impressed with this car having seen it in person. Well I guess a $125,000 car should be impressive, now I want to hear it.

A pic of the rear which I think is a great look ass if I must say so.

Blair- There are some sound clips on teh Porsche website. Go to the section on the Cayenne, and on the right hand side menu there is an option for "Cayenne experience" or something like that.

In there you can listen to soundbites of the engine starting and revving, drive-by's and I think there's a video too.

This thing sounds like a monster, it's great!!

Even though they have different engines, I wonder if the Touareg V8 will sound similar.

My parents are looking into getting a new SUV, and we stopped by the dealership on saturday. I'm trying to talk them into the Cayenne Although if they do get one, it wouldn't be the turbo.

The thing is HOT inside. You can even raise and lower the suspension 2" with a button, like the Audi Allroad.
Sidewalks are for normal walkin.... aint no room for fancy walkin....

Liquid - for the comparitive cost, i would recommend the Touareg V8 to your parents. For less than the price of the Cayenne S, you get more in the way of features, including that trick adjustable suspension.

The performance of the VW will be right up there with the 'S as well. Besides, the Touareg looks way better.

I kinda like these but they remind me of a confused station wagon that doesn't know if it wants to be up or down.

The allroad is no slouch either, very nice car and fits in the price range, my Step-Mom has one and it is a fun car and very practical too with lots of great features.
