Having been in Calgary for a week it was nice to hear Alt-J and Arctic Monkeys getting some attention. An Awesome Wave by Alt-J is an amazing album, one of my favorites over the last couple years (actually released in 2012) and the new Arctic Monkeys album AM is also solid, R U Mine? is my favorite tune of the moment.

Going back to some house vibes here is a couple tracks I am enjoying this week!

I also find it interesting how some things trend here that would never see the light of day in most parts of North America, just the different musical tastes I guess, but this song is gaining some hype at the moment and just shows how much range there can be in popular music.

A couple tracks I am enjoying a lot at the moment; first up is Bonobo and his BBC Radio 1 Essential Mix from April is pretty stellar as well.

Bumping this up, just loving this song at the moment a great balance of new soul with a modern beat in the remix and the original is pretty good too.

Been really digging on the Anjunadeep podcasts lately.

Recent guest mixes by James Grant, Jody Wisternoff, Whomi, Martin Roth, and Matt Lange (among others) have been spectacular.




For more upbeat sets, I've recently found "The Dance Contributions" podcast, and enjoy the Deadmau5, Kaskade and David Guetta editions. They're gems, front to back.
