What are you listening to?

Since I'm not much of a gamer, I thought I'd just check out what everyone is listening too right now... and maybe get some suggestions. My music taste is really eclectic... but right now I'm listening to:

Pink Floyd - High Hopes
Some Josh Groban
Jay Z - Moment of Clarity
Greenday - Boulevard of Broken Dreams
Old school Elton John (ie: goodbye yellow brick road)
A whole variety of Trance.

If anyone has any suggestions as to good new trance songs, let me know.

I've mostly been listening to an old club tracks. I threw in staind a while back just to angry it up a bit. Hmm what else....a lot of the hip before the concert.

I pretty much listen to anything, right now I have Eminem - Encore in the cd, and mystical influence (drum and bass/jungle) in the tape.

Just got my 20 Gig Ipod last week & have been listening to it non stop. Couple of current faves include:

Anyway as for my musical madness these days I have been listening to a few cds as always:

Sparta, A Wilhelm Scream, Interpol, Anne Savage and the new Handsome Boy Modeling School.

I also listen to Yahoo's Launchcast while at work which allows for a customizable radio station based upon your ratings of Genres, artists and songs. I think it is pretty sweet and hence my ratings are over 14,500

I must be totally out of the loop I haven't heard of a lot of these artists, maybe i've just heard it and don't know who they are. I do need to check out more stuff, I hate the radio and All my clubtracks are getting a little played out (scratched).

I'm with you Tuna. I consider myself musically informed, but I've never even heard of "interpol" or "handsome boy modelling school", or some of the others. What kind of music is it?

In case anyone cares...

Arcade Fire is kind of an independant/pop/rock band, I would recommend it to lovers of Radiohead or Coldplay or Broken Social Scene, bands like that. Sorry to lump those all together.

Kleptones CD is a mash-up of Queen and some hip-hop samples.

Four Tet is instrumental, like a DJ went mad with old school instruments like harps, etc.

M83 is very electro instrumental, a lot of atari type sounds.

Labradford is kind of a post-rock epic kind of movie soundtrack stuff.

All pretty good, only the Arcade Fire stuff is really new.
