For the parents, my g/f and I got photos done at Sears and every 'rent and grand'rent gets a framed 8x10 of our lovely mugs.

For the girl, I bought her a car and a CD player for the car.

I was thinking of buying myself a nice 30 dps 1handed sword and perhaps get Kris some +20 intellect rings. Oh and maybe I'll make Ryan a nice suit of armor. eerrr, we were talking about WoW right?

Actually I think i'm content just having most of the home reno's done after 2 weeks of 12 hour days, it feels good, maybe now I'll enjoy this month.

What I'd really like is my lights to come in before Christmas, other than that I'm not sure, I would really like a cordless Drill but I think that's outta the price range for this year.

I also have no idea what I will get my wife yet, haven't even had a chance to think about it until I saw this thread!! I'm thinking perhaps a Henkel (sp?) knife as she's slowly been trying to build up a set. I know I know, you're not supposed to get Kitchen stuff, but she LOVES when I get her kitchen stuff (she's a keeper).

Well, I'm starting the "Get Derick's ass back to Calgary for Christmas fund". So anyone who wants to contribute, I take paypal, certified checks, or postal money order

Seriously though, I called to book a flight back to Calgary last week, and because of the restrictive dates I can travel (and the fact that the airlines rape you this time of year) they want between $600 - $1200 USD!!! for three freakin' days in Calgary!? .... So no dice. The real kick is that my family here in L.A. is going back to Calgary (since they have flexible travel times and can get better deals) so it looks like i'm doing Christmas solo ...........weak
