  • My latest mod

This will be sitting on top of my car next summer. It cost me about as much as a super charger, but I think it will end up putting more smiles on my face than the extra horsepower would. It's a turner 6-pack (little joke with the beers) and for those in the know, this bike is most definitely the shiz!

Some. I needed a bigger bike, as I was going beyond what my old bike was capable of, especially when out on the North Shore, and Vancouver Island. It's about 5lbs heavier than my old bike, but it's gonna laugh at pretty much anything I can throw at it. It still climbs really well too, just a little more work with the heavier rims. I expect to see a lot of Moose Mountain chutes this summer unless I end up moving to the left coast.

I haven't weighed it yet, but I'm guessing it's about 32-35 lbs. My old bike is a '97 FSR comp with the mrp rear link and an X-Vert on the front. Full bearings on the pivots, and 5.5-6.5 in the rear, 4.5 up front. It weighs in around 27 lbs. I will probably put air shocks on the FSR and use it as my epic/XC bike. I'm debating trying the Bow 80 this year if I can get in good enough shape by spring.

                  Jeff,

Let me know in the spring when you wanna ride. I'm cruising on a custom built Stinky Dee-Lux. I bought the frame and specced the bike.

                  Nice ride man
