The damage may be less than 2 hand or dual weilding however the defensive gains from a shiled and the better % block is worth the lack of damage. Warriors will never be the best full on meelee and will only make the best tanks if they have really good defensive skills, otherwise what is seperating you from a paladin who has heals and auras?

Plus, healers love s/s warriors because they require less work haha. Who do healers hate? I can tell you Rogue's for sure! Crazy meelee damage wearing crap leather armor haha..Woo Hoo!

yah for tanking (which is the warriors only strong suit) you have to be holding a shield. Without mine I have barely 2000 def, with it I have 3200. Thats about 44% damage reduction from all hits, plus I block 11% of the time with upgraded shield talents. Plus maxed parrying allows me to parry 11% of the time too.

oh, and a rogue tanking is funny stuff. kris was saying the other day how he had to get his bro (rogue) to tank in BFD and with 600 def it wasn't fun.

haha and my assassin/subelty rogue will out DPS you with no points in combat theres no point in building a damage dealing warrior because your then just a shitty rog in platemail

worldofwar.net has good guides most of the time, id suggest lookin there.

Warrior + PVP = not worth it Don't get proper skills for PvP really. Ever watch that video of a 60 warrior and a 60 pali dueling? The one where the pali is unarmed (no sword or shiled) and kicks the warriors ass down? haha

yah we're forgetting that the warrior is getting some different skills as of next patch. they've already introduced the patch on the european beta server. beacuse right now, the warrior is bunk. has a hard time doing any damage at all. perhaps berserker stance will actually be useable, because right now its horrible.

Player versus Player
· Gurubashi Arena – The arena in Stranglethorn Vale has been changed so that free-for-all PvP will only take place on the floor of the arena, and no longer in the stands or on the entrance ramp. Please keep in mind that on PvP realms, members of the opposite faction can still attack you anywhere in the arena because Stranglethorn Vale is a contested area.
· There is now a short countdown before a duel starts.

Professions
· Fishing for high-level zones has been restored.
· Fishing profession now requires a minimum character level, like the other professions do. Any character who already has a fishing profession past the intended level will not be affected.
· The recipes for Heavy Mageweave Bandage, Runecloth Bandage, and Heavy Runecloth Bandage can be learned by visiting your faction's Artisan First Aid questgiver.
· Sell prices on Runecloth Bandages and Heavy Runecloth Bandages have been reduced.
· Expert First Aid books moved to a more appropriate vendor for the Horde. New vendor is still within the same general area as the previous one.

Warriors
· New Ability: Pummel (Berserker Stance) (Level 38) - Instant attack that causes damage and interrupts spellcasting for a short duration.
· Shield Bash: No longer usable in Berserker Stance.
· Berserker Stance: Now increases critical strike chance by 3% instead of granting 10% melee haste. Extra damage taken reduced from 20% to 10%.

Rogue
· Vanish will now break root and slow effects.

Priest
· New Spell: Prayer of Fortitude (Level 48) - Longer lasting Power Word: Fortitude spell that buffs the entire group. Requires a reagent to cast. (Spell is available via loot drop only.)

my warrior is alright i hit level 18 last night and am doing okay my damage isn't the greatest though only like 30's/hit kinda deal.. the big swing hits can do like 50-60 damage but you only get those once in a while

haha posting your damage dosent mean much without the damage delay, you could be diong 50 damage every 1.5 seconds, or 50 damage every 4.3 seconds. right now my guy does 90-140 every 2.2 seconds and thast still only half of what a rogue does

Ive got 38dps in my prim hand with 1.4sec delay
just over 25 in my second hand with 1.3 delay

Ya, Vanish has always done that for me..and let me tell ya its useful in PVP..Vansih when a druid roots you and sneak up and ambush his crap..The only spell I block from druids is root cause its the only way then can kill me heh

those are not supposed to be in the game yet.. its the patch for the beta server. If it works out there, it will be included in teh patch for retail.

have you ever played a MMORPG before? what else did you expect? compared to any other mmorpg this games quest system is far superior. try playing everquest and having to kill mobs over and over again to get experience.

but yes I know what you mean about the lack of different types of quests, but what else could a quest have you do? get immersed in the storyline and just go with it. ps. lev43
