nope, i wasn't there. I haven't done any raids in a week, and when a goon squad raid comes, you know it. because we go in packs of 60, and only goon squad, no one else allowed.
ok i probably phrased that wrong. we dont invite them or let them into the /raid group. so they can follow us all they want, but aren't going to get healed or told what the plans are. since all talk is usually conducted on raid channels, by all means follow us deaf and blind. you're probably gonna not enjoy it when a level 50 guard aggro's you and no one rescues you though
actually that brings up an interesting story, in closed beta the goons were goin on a raid and they were all level 40+ and this little gnome mage that was level 12 called Gwaoc came along and followed them all the way across the world. he eventually died from a random roaming mob as they were running through the zone, but we say he gave his life to save the goons. now we have a "Gwaoc" rank in the guild.
i haven't played in a week.. i didn't bother installing it on my laptop.. i've been too busy partying, gambling and having fun with the fine fine FINE ladies that live down here.. oooh my latinas boys oh my!
how will that work? i cant even talk to u in the game
how will i know that u created an auction?
theoretically we'd have to set a time beforehand to meet up and do it. but right now i'm selling everything i get to afford my horse so maybe in 2 levels i can start handing out free gears
That was funny as hell to hear this train sound and see Simon run up to me. I then died 3 times in the area once finding out there is a horde camp near there too Ohh well good game and alot of fun. I don't know why I picked a PvP server though, I am no good at it and don't enjoy it much. Good thing it is usually easy to get back to my body.

I dont know why you picked it, maybe to play with us. but the reason WE picked PVP is so there'd actually be some end-game to this. This isn't like other MMORPG's where it takes a year to reach level 60 and that is such an achievement in itself. Hell, im near 40 after 3 intense weeks. There are tons of level 50's already in my guild, and quite alot of level 60's on the horde side. AFTER 3 WEEKS.
So what do you do now that you're a high level? Well if you were on a normal non-pvp server you would raid places with a few buddies... over and over... and over again. Where as on the PVP server, its all about dominating the other side. You're constantly out hunting the other player and organizing groups and raids on other cities. YOU CAN TAKE OVER OTHER CITIES!. Imagine a uber-guild of 60 level 60's coming into Stormwind and taking it over. yes, its possible.
edit: oh and brent, you're a hunter. Hunters are AWESOME at pvp. my warrior would most likely lose to a hunter 5 levels below me. and easily.
a) wing clip. reducing my speed.
b) aspect of cheetah. increasing your speed.
= All you gotta do is shoot me, back up, shoot me, back up. A high level hunter can easily do 600damage an arrow, and with me at 2500hp, that doesnt take long to kill.

Yeah, WoW is much different from other MMO's in this sense - I dont put very much time (just under 2 days in /played now at near 27) and I figure Ill be level 60 with under 20 days game played (before the summer at any rate)..In everquest, I could level a character equally as fast but Id have to have my higher level druid powerleveling him whenever he was on and he'd have gear 30+ levels above what he should etc...
For me, where the game gets FUN is in the PVP, I know the horde land somewhat and will make a horde character once I have a mount on my rogue so that I can learn the land a bit better for PVP's sake..Maybe we should all do that on a seperate server? (Cant create a horde char on the same server your alliance char is on)

MY thoughts exactly....are you guys planning on going to the Bi-mon sci-fi con?
The game does sound cool though, I'm just in the PC dark ages.
