  • US Presidential Election pt. 2

Please, use this space to continue previous discussion of Hilary Clinton in '08, which was unfairly closed in my meager opinion.

I think she'll be great, she's got the thick brow and stocky thighs you need to preside.

I will allow this to go for now, but this is an open political discussion and nothing else please!

As for Hilary Clinton I think a female president would be great for the US and I think people miss the Clinton days and that may work to her advantage its just whether she can win the party nomination. However we have four years of Dubya first....

Yeah, but I doubt it will happen. Most of America is religious fundamentalists(aka bible-belt hucklebucks) and see women as meek creations, used only for the entertainment of man. They'll never let reform occurr, not on thier watch(or embellished sun-dial made out of toilet paper rolls and empty Skoal(where's the little trademark symbol when you need it) tins).

She isn't electible. I think she is batting from the wrong side of the plate.

I dont think I've heard this much useless drivel from one person in quite some time. Anyhow, I actually don't know much about Hillary Clinton, but I think the momentum that is gained within the democratic party may push their next senator over the edge. Like it or not, the south is vital to winning the election... and the next democratic representative has to learn to use their party platform in a more effective way.

speaking of drivel...your post could have been composed by the hucklebuck monkey Blue Beard from the movie Project X with Matthew Broderick (a classic by the way).

you don't need to win any southern states to win the election. If Gore or Kerry carried Ohio they would have won. I live in Ohio and am disappointed in my Hucklebucks. We have lost 250,000 jobs under this administration and we still vote for the hucklebuck?

if you look at the electoral votes kerry would not have won even if he got ohio you need 270 votes and ohio is worth 7 so 7 plus 252 is 259 and he also lossed the popular vote by 2% or around 3+million people

Kerry was a patsy, as the Democratic party had no faith in being able to unseat a war-time incumbant...they'll save up the "good-stuff" to make a solid hucklebuck in '08 with Clinton...

p.s. I'm unfamiliar with the rules, but can Bill Clinton run as her vice-president?
