I'll second that. So much drama on our normally sleepy little board.

I guess we have hit the bigtime! I think our site has been linked with some larger US sites giving us some new exposure. Perhaps we can have some strange Presidential election in the club now

I "googled" this, and the best I can gather is that "the Hucklebuck" was a song (and subsequent dance) by Chubby Checker...

Ah here's a dance you should know
Ah baby when the lights are down low
I say grab your baby then go

If you don't know how to do it man you're out of luck
Push ya baby out then you hunch her back
Start a little movement in your sacrolliac
Wiggle like a stick wobble like a duck
That's what you do when you do the Hucklebuck

***Instrumental break with: Oh - Workout***

I thought this club was a dictatorship? If we do have an election we better not run it like the one in the States, it is just too damn confusing.

I wish that had happened. Americans are a bunch of f**king lemmings following this ******* like sheep to the slaughter. I voted Kerry, as did 67% of the people in my county (Cuyahoga County, Ohio).

I think that the current system works well too. No hanging chads, electoral colleges, or elections that take 3 years.

If we do have an election I want to be Florida. Its ruled by Bush

The weirdest thing about the US is how the 'electoral votes' are assigned in an all-or-nothing kind of way. So there is no difference between states of equal population/size who vote 49%-51% vs 75%-25%.

I have never understood how a country founded on principals of democracy can allow it's highest office to NOT be determined by the popular vote. What the hucklebuck is it going to take for them to change this?
