Hello, everyone! My name is Raleed. I have been a Reverend with the First Nubian Unity Church in Windsor, Ontario for the past 4 years, and I've recently relocated to East St. Louis, Illinois for expansion. I'm not sure exactly how I stumbled across this website, but it seems like a nice place to chat. I was never interested in purchasing a VW, but after driving my fiancee's Pasaat, I was sold on the fact that although they have not been good people historically, the German people could now build a fine automobile.

Oh, well..I can't speak for everyone here, but I bought my VW because Hilter was such a stand-up gent.

Yes, VW might have been the idea of Adolf, it is important to remember that without the allies being in Germany, VW would have never survived. It was the allies that allowed the factory workers to begin building the people car again. VW has also paid millions in restitution over the year, although it does not excuse what was done under Hitler. After WWII Henry Ford was given the opportunity to buy VW, and he said no. Whoops.


Anyway, Welcome abord.

I trust it would be best to perhaps remove this thread altogether. I dont see anything good coming from it at all. Plus, perhaps it's best to remember what Augustine said: "never judge something by it's abuse".... and that translates to nations as well. Don't forget it.

Have to agree with you Chris, a bad impression has been made in 2 posts. Maybe you should jsut start a new thread and start over, expecially for a reverand.
