Halo 2

Hey guys,

I . . .uhhh . . . sampled halo 2, and its friggen amazing, it is really well done and the graphics are sweet. We even got some four player action going on and that was wicked too, you can choose to be the convenant elite in death matches now which was really cool. Also vehicles are not invinicible anymore, and explode quite readily. Also the new dual wield system is wicked, you can wield two weapons (not rifles but pretty much anything else) at the cost of throwing grenades, and you can shoot each one with the l and r buttons, its really awsome. Reload time takes a while longer also. There are some new weapons too that kick some ass like a covenent sniper rifle, and stuff like that. Its great!

Its really awsome, and I cant wait to play the english version, since the one I tried was all in french the single player game was quite difficult cause I couldnt figure out what cortez was telling me. I definately plan to purchase the english version the day its released! But all in all its wicked. I do have the . . .uhh . . sample, if anyone is interested.

I'm preordering mine from EBG. They are even having a midnight opening, I don't think I'll be going to it but my friends are.

Sweet man, glad you got a chance to check it out. My friends have already formed a Clan, with website and all, they are just a wee bit hardcore.

We should totally have a NewVeeDub clan. I'm getting this the day it comes out, and so are many of my friends. I can't wait. Halo 2 was a big reason I bought an XBox in the first place (along with the original).

That would be fun, I need to get playing a bit more, I was pretty good before but now i'm kinda suckin'.

Bill did you did you pre-order your Halo 2? if you're hardcore you can get at midnight on the 9th if you preorder at EB games. I'm for sure getting the Platinmum edition, just becuase i'm nerdy and it's only 10 bucks more.

But if you only "buy" it then you can't play it on Live. I'm going to buy it for real because I think it's one of those games that are worth it, and I can play on Live! (even though I will totally get my a$$ handed to me)

i find FPS on consoles hard to get used to.. honestly if they make USB mice/keyboards for consoles i'd be all over FPS then.. WASD and mouse pwns you all

I have a USB adapter plugged into one of my xbox game ports - can plug a USB hub into that and run KB/Mouse. I haven't tried yet as I don't have a 1ps game.

yeah you gotta have a modded xbox, Im getting mine modded on friday so I can play it along with a 200 GB hd! Saweet! I cant wait, but mabey one day before it comes out we'll have a mini meet at my house to try out the DEATH MATCH! MUAHAHAHA! Sweet!

By the way were having a midnight maddness deal at Toys R Us also, if you guys want a copy let me know and Ill stash one at Market mall for yaz.

I just pre-ordered my Halo 2 Limited Edition tonight. I'm getting it from Future Shop just because that was easy... I'm not hardcore enough to need it exactly at midnight... I do have a job to work.
