Unfortunately, I think some of the Canadian networks are doing news like the Americans. You don't need to look any further than Global National for this. That whole broadcast is all about shocking you into watching.

The media as a whole, even the local Calgary media is a joke, although for me they are also a useful tool. It is sad to see that there is very little integrity in the media and those who are in regular contact with the media are able to dictate the media to suit thier needs. Its all about the spin. Before I was involved with the media I took it for granted that what they reported was acurate, 300+ media spots later & media awareness training I realize that the media is largely about getting the ratings, and not reporting the facts.

No that is not my Tron outifit, nor is that a real picture of me. I just think that a picture of a middle aged over weight man in a skin tigh tron suit is hilarious. I blame my parents.
