Kris, as far as the emissions requirements in SoCal. They are much stricter than those in Canada. But since I am only there on a temporary work visa, I don't think those same regulations may apply. I know alot of out of state and Canadian people in Cali who are there on work visas or student visas, and they have not had to take emission testing. But more importantly, I don't think the law there really cares to be honest. I swear, it seems like 1 in 20 cars doesn't even have tags there From the time I spent there, it seems like small things like emissions, speeding, minor traffic violations, etc are just overlooked by the police. I really don't know though. I'm sorta working through these issues as they come, but I guess we'll see

LOL Actually, I was offered a position with a swank ad agency near North Hollywood. I'll be working on a follow-up deal with NBC (The Apprentice show) and Proctor & Gamble as my first project.

.... Although, the idea of starting a company called "Blingerton Inc." def has a nice ring to it. Wanna be VP?

Yes, but it's kinda complicated. I am a 'permanent resident' in Canada - formely known as 'landed immigrant' - and I was born in Houston. So I've got my U.S. citizenship by default. Now in addition to my U.S. passport, I have British and Swedish ones too. So three in total. So not sure if that's dual citizenship, or tri-citizenship, but whatever it is, it's apparently quite good. :P

Jokes aside though, if your company is looking, I'm available and willing to relocate!!
