I never keep track....BTW, I picked up Burnout 3, and its addictive, good race action, reasonably increasing difficulty, and some great graphics......Try it out! I used to spend hours on end with AoE and stuff, sim city, flight simulators (yay, 8hour flight to europe with MSFS2002), TWPGA, NFS underground, etc........I'm still waiting to hear about how to mod my box..hint hint....nudge nudge.....brent......BTW, how's married life??

Married life is GOOD
Let me know the serial number onthe bottom of your xbox and I will let you know if you can go the reflash root. It all boils down to "will you ever play xbox live?" if not then it is an easy bios reflash and you are set. Or you can shell out ~$60 and get a mod chip. My buddy works with a guy who keeps them in stock so it is like a 2 day job. I sugest also upgrading the harddrive at the same time as games load faster off it. I fell in love with burnout 3 that game keep me calm the morning of my wedding

Actually with the reflash root, you can actually store a different Bios on the hard drive.
games a good thing to relax with although i've broken 4 PS2 controllers last year LOL and 1 gamecube one.. nothing is better than driving back to my parents watching my bro play ps2 in the car
It is possible to mod your xbox and still play xbox live, I know the xecuter lite comes with a switch so you can turn it on and off, it gets mounted outside your xbox so its easy to get too aswell. Theres also the matter of a lockable hard drive, if you get one of these (Maxtor makes quite a few that have this function) Xbox live wont be able to read whats on your hard drive, so it cant tell whether or not its modded.
And the modding process is pretty easy, its just like soldering 9 points and then mounting the chip, thats all pretty easy. The hardest part is shoving everything back in, all the wires and cords get pretty cramped in there, especially when you hook up lights and crap, with the y cables and all that crap.
It took me about an hour and a half to do the whole thing, there are various tutorials all over the web too that are pretty awsome. Private message me if you need some help TurboMedic
Between working 40 hours a week, taking classes, running this club, taking care of the jetta and trying to have a social life my Xbox has not even been switched on for months.
