  • Leave it to AC

If you've ever flown Air Canada, you probably know that they are notorious for poor service and losing your luggage. I have lost luggage on business trips almost as often as I have flown with them. AC sux and should not get another cent from my hard earned tax dollar. This is just another example of that:

Yeah, those bastards have lost my luggage as well. I have no sympathy for A/C and their financial problems. Long live WestJet!

Amen to that. The last time AC lost my luggage, I was on a 3 day trip. They finally delivered it to the place I was staying on the day I was supposed to fly back to Calgary

I learned my lesson with AC and have stopped flying with them as much as possible. To date, I've made 3 formal complaints with the airline (and it's star air alliance) and recieved a free flight as well as a crapload of aeroplan points. They suck. Period.

To be fair, all airlines lose luggage.

Its probably often the fault of poorly labelled luggage, oversized bags, and so forth - I have seen the crap that people try to check in or pick up, and its hilarious.

Most of the time though I bet its the baggage handlers just being sloppy.

AC lost my luggage on a week long trip to montreal once..Took 5 days to FIND it, I had to buy 7 days worth of clothes and those bastards gave me nothing in return because I got my luggage back (they shipped it home too, not to montreal cause I was only there for 1 more day )

My pops has had his luggage lost so many times that he can now fit 5 days worth of clothes into a carry-on haha

This is all good to know, i'm in the process of booking my flights to Hawaii, and, well I've always hated Air Canada but this more reason to stay away from them. *whisper* personally, I think it's the Union that's causing all the problems.

and BTW, if anyone hears or sees any cheap flights being offered (i don't get the paper) let me know.

The funny thing is, I have had less issues with international flights on AC.
