They have them on the Allroads in brushed aluminum too. I think they are for air and debris control or maybe just to look interesting....

if that car comes here next year with either the 2.0T or 3.2vr6 with 5/6spd and i dig it i'm gonna hop on one for sure.. sorta like a mini avant.. i love the wagons yo

Rumors are that the 2.0T with FWD will be first to arrive in North America and then the 3.2V6 with Quattro and opptional DSG will arrive after both in the 5 door. There is still no word on 3 doors and the S3 does not exist yet but it is rumored to be coming in both 3 and 5 doors so it would be possible

The price point seems pretty good, but we will have to wait and see what kind of features and options they offer. I also think it is not the best idea to wait a whole year before adding the V6 and Quattro to the lineup as here Audi customers expect Quattro. I guess they are allowing time to see how they will sell here, but they should bring the S-line quick
