Well Audi in Germany has released the sportline model of the A3 with mostly asthetic upgrades but also some suspension tuning. I think the car looks great and since we have TT and A6 S-lines and the Sportback is rumored to be the first of the A3s here this could be a possibility for us

Re: Audi A3 Sportback S-Line
I don't really like that big grille on the smaller Audis. I think they look good on the 6's and 8's, but not so much on the 3's and 4's. That interior looks awesome though.

Re: Audi A3 Sportback S-Line
Sorry, looks like a cross between a kia and a acura el w/hatch. I have seen other pictures of a3's and they looked really good. Dunno, maybe its the 4 door.
I'm sure it would look better in person. Is that grill specific to the sportline A3?2012 gti, 2012 mustang.

Re: Audi A3 Sportback S-Line
I love that interior! Holy crap! I prefer the 2 door, but I think I could rock the 4. It needs HUGE wheels with lots of bling and it would look wicked awesome. I'm pretty sure an Audi of some sort will be my next car.
Edit: definitely needs to be dropped too... not slammed, but pretty low. yummy.Last edited by Billip; 08-17-2004, 10:19 PM.billip

Re: Audi A3 Sportback S-Line
I think the 4 door makes it look too long. I would go for the 2 door. The big front grill leaves plenty of aftermarket options, I bet, that would make the car really stand out. Interior is really hot though.Nick

Re: Audi A3 Sportback S-Line
I really like the look of this car, both inside & out. Size wise, is it smaller than an A4 avant?

Re: Audi A3 Sportback S-Line
Yeah these cars are smaller than an A4
A4 Avant Width 69.5" Length 179" Wheelbase 104"
A3 Sportsback Width 69.5" Length 169" Wheelbase 101"
And you may want to get used to the grill as it will most likely be an all Audis soon!Blair

Re: Audi A3 Sportback S-Line
yea the new A4s for 05 might be 05.5 are getting the new grill the engine moved back for better weight distribution and the suspension is getting reworked i dig some research for next year lol..
actually since audi decided on the 03+ b6 a4s to paint the lowers has anyone seen a new one with the factory painted lowers? i've seen the sedans which look nice.. but the other day on crowchild i saw a red (tornado red i guess) b6 wagon with the new painted lowers.. that car looked FARKIN SICK!Last edited by R_Ethug; 08-18-2004, 01:39 PM.

Re: Audi A3 Sportback S-Line
yeah, i've seen a few a4s with the painted lowers. i wasn't sure if that was done aftermarket or not, cuz the rest of the car was always otherwise stock looking.
