at my current age, i could give 2 shits about how much money gets dumped into health care or schools. Snip the GST and now your talkin'..You can say that you guys dont think like this, but deep down your lying to yourself! And what difference is a local rep gonna make in cutting GST or killing inheritence tax or whatever ******** tax some of these parties wanna throw in ( i know ndp squashed the inherit. tax because all the rich threatened to move to the states..was just a good example).

I gotta say man... I totally disagree with you. Sure Taxes suck, but unlike you, I actually care where the money is going. And NO, I'm not lying to myself I think healthcare is a huge problem.... and I believe that a two-tier system is in our best interests. As for schooling... having a mom who is a teacher I know first hand how big of a joke school has become. I dont like taxes, and believe very strongly in free-market capitalism.... but saying you dont care where the tax dollars are going is just

I agree, I like some Conservatist ideas, but they aren't putting enough in the education system. Teachers and doctors need to get paid more, but NDP wants to tax people to death, and the Liberals aren't very trustworthy and they are pulling money out of their bum's. It's a difficult decision.

Watching the votes come in just shows the flaws in the Canadian system. Although, I have to admit, I really dislike CBC, but they do a great job of covering the election. Canada needs to go to proportional representation system very soon, because the way the ridings are set up now is just a joke. I heard a stat somewhere (please dont quote me on this)... but votes in parts of the East count 2.6 times as much as some parts of Western Canada. Quebec and the Maritimes are way over-represented, meanwhile Western Canada is way under-represented.

I used to think this Western Seperation thing was a big joke, and never took it seriously. I'm still not a supporter of it, but I can see how people are. The biggest problem with seperation may be infrastructure and so forth, but Alberta and BC's economies could handle themselves just fine. I can't stand how many ridings Quebec has.... they get the most tax dollars by far.

Man this is a joke: Funny thing that have happened so far.
1. The Marxist Leninist Party had a seat for a little while
2. The Green Party actually has a seat
3. CBC claims that 8% of people decide who to vote for after recieving their ballot

Well, there are 308 ridings in Canada now instead of 301... so they revised the distribution slightly. House seats are allocated among the provinces in proportion to the size of their populations, which seems fair to me. The boundaries of most ridings have changed too this year to better reflect the population distributions.

Health care is a huge issue for me....after all, I'm the one who waits in the hallways of the hospital with patients for hours on end....its not right....I also care about my tax dollars, I pay enough....and taxes on taxes, etc....I didn't think any one party represented my interests best, but conservative was the best bet for us for sure....I'm disgusted literally that liberals were re-voted...I mean, are people blind and stupid?? What are liberal supporters thinking?? I question alot of the people's views on what is proper governing, what is moral, etc....

The reason the lieing, liberal scoundrels got voted back in is because the people from Ontario are stupid (I can say this I am from Ontario ) and they don't know who else to vote for, they're parents voted Liberal so they vote Liberal that's just the way it is mostly out there, plus them and the maritimers get all pimped out by those Liberals so of course they don't want to vote conservative.

Paul is right to a large extent. Liberal love is embedded into Ontario life, and that is a big hurdle that the Conservative party needs to overcome. I like King Ralph (for the most part) but he killed the conservative party..... he got the rest of Canada scared about the Conservative Healthcare platform, and of course the lying Liberals jumped all over this.
