Well today you guys better all go out and vote. I know most of us are voting the same way and regardless if you don't vote and I hear you complain about something then you get punched lol.. so get out and get it done takes 5 minutes
Well I am not sure if we want to get into a big political discussion here, but yes you should all get out and vote. Really I am not to impressed with anyone in this election but one vote can make a difference!

HAHA there isn't really any candidates worth voting for.
You realize you are electing a local representative, its not a popularity contest between Harper, Martin et all?
Although your local representative will adhere to the party platform, they also have a say in determining what that platform will be in the future. Moreover often our MP's can directly influence government based on their own beliefs or those of their constituents outside the party platform, and definitely outside the beliefs of the party leader.
This does not mean I don't think that the party leader largely controls the party and the government should that party be elected in a majority government.
But I doubt most people even know the names of the candidates before they see the ballots...
Sorry but thats a soft spot for me... I won't rant about it any more
